      Squeaky Boots

      I sent the boots back for replacement after a few days of trying to break them in. I’ve never had a pair of boots that squeaked at every step. Not a good product if your trying to be quiet in the woods. It was a loud squeak with every step.

      Buy paper bags instead

      Absolutely terrible, when taken out of the box the left boot has a cut in the ‘sealant’ or whatever has been pasted on the toe sections of these boots, thought leave its just minor. First time out, walked across a barley stubble field covered with noting more than morning dew. Both boots leak around the toe sections, both socks wet… might as well put on a couple of paper bags on my feet they would have stood up to a be of morning dew better.

      The boots look to be excellent quality but anyone with wide feet are not going to fit into Rocky's "WIDE" boots. I take a 3E-4E boot and they are way to small. I have owned Rocky boots for over 30 years and now I can't wear them anymore because they don't make the wider width anymore. I guess overseas feet are smaller.

      I don't know exactly when I finally bought my first pair but I'm guessing it was 25 years ago and this is just my third pair and at the end of their life they may look like garbage but they're still performing dry feet warm feet I love them

      I have owned these boots for more than a few years, but have not deer hunted in them more than six times. I took them out of my closet yesterday to find that the souls had disintegrated. Totally unacceptable.

      Terrible soles fall apart

      I quit buying the rock bear claw because of the corn stalkers and any other rock boot with the same style of rubber soles I got some that look like brand new boots the the sole just crumbled apart on the last pair of corn stalkers were only worn from my house our to dear stands for a couple of years and the last time I wore them the sole were completely gone by the time I made it 300 to 400 yards to the stand. Chunks just crumbled off with ever step.

      I would recommend buying two pair. So when the soles start falling off one, you have the other pair to wear when you send in for warranty. It took from Halloween to Thanksgiving morning before my pair started to separate. I wear them everyday for 13 to 18 hours a day, but still less than a month. Have wore Rockys for over 20 years, but now I don't know what kind I'll buy. Too bad I used to really like them.

      I have been wearing The Bear Claw for many years. It is the only boot I wear. Gets harder to find each year, but well worth the price. I Coon hunt in all extremes and the tread is by far the best of any boot. Comfortable, waterproof and extremely durable.

      Only boots I’ll buy. Probably bought 5 pair over the years. I’m very hard on a pair of boots. I work in irrigation and hunt and fish. Wear them practically year around and they still last 3 to 4 years.
