      Liked my first pair so much I bought a second pair

      This is my second pair of the Georgia Eagle Light Work Boot as I liked the first pair so much I wanted a second pair in different width and length. In winter I wear a thicker, more heavier insulated boot sock so I needed to have a second pair in a different half-size and different width to accommodate my summer versus winter needs. These are still the most comfortable and light-weight work boot that I have found. I have had my first pair about a year now and have not worn it out so I went for a second pair to accommodate seasonal temperature needs. I have not had the sole-split issue that others have commented on so I must have by chance gotten the later versions of the boot as I have put enough mileage on these boots for problems to have arisen if my pairs suffered from sole issues like others have commented upon. These are not water proof and they are not advertised as such. I love the Comfort Core 6 system. As I have had knee surgery/repair, comfort is critical and I would rather wear out a comfortable pair of knee-accommodating boots each year than go through another knee surgery so I don't mind if I wear out the soles on a boot rather than my knee. I challenge the designers of these boots to put a more aggressive tread pattern on the soles, that is my only complaint.

      I have 2 pair and have wore for a while now in farm, field and at home. Breaks in quick and is quite comfortable. I customized by conditioning the leather with Hubert’s shoe grease for dew/water resistance, and replaced the laces with a bit longer Kevlar laces. Made them perfect for my needs. I will be buying more for certain.

      Purchased these because I just wore out a pair of the same type. They are super light weight and are breaking in good with one exception. The stitched area on the outside of my right ankle is making the lower part of my ankle bone sore if I wear the shoe laced up snug. Feels like the leather may be overlapped more in that area. As they are breaking in it is improving and I will give them a little longer cause shoes they fit me well are hard to find. Might have something to do with most shoes being made offshore now days.

      This is the only boot I buy because I work construction and they hold up so well. So whenever I need a new pair I buy these. They are AMAZING! And so comfortable!

      This is my second pair and I was disappointed when at a week old one of the lace eyes broke. Unfortunately that is a piece that would not be easy to repair. I love how comfortable “out of the box” they are, but question some parts!

      I believe these boot will be fine. I needed a boot with flexibility. These boots are replacing my other boots I purchased a few months back G109 .They were to stiff and at the end of the day my feet were tired and sore.

      I've had them about a week. Very comfortable with no break-in required. Nice color and light weight. Would've rated 5 stars but because of steel shank I have to remove them when passing through security at work. Should've did my homework. Too soon to give grade on durability

      I have bought 2 pairs of these boots and both pair had problems with the soles splitting apart similar to other review comments. They are a very comfortable boot, but I don't understand why the company hasn't addressed the quality issue with the soles????

      I bought these a little over 6 months ago and wear them to work everyday. I really enjoyed them at first but now both my boots have split across the bottom, so I can't wear them when it is wet outside. Disappointed at how fast these wore out.

      I boot these boots and they didn't last a year and the sole cracked. And my feet was getting wet.

      Great boots, very light and comfortable. Not made in USA any more - made in China. Soles split, as others have noted, Georgia Boot will replace in 1 year warranty period but not beyond. If your sole splits and is out of warranty, don't despair; I found that Boot-Fix Glue will repair it nicely. It has handled a month+ of farm work with no further problems. Recommend with caveat on splitting.

      Very comfortable, lightweight, good looking boot. I had them for less than 9 months and the sole cracked all the way through. Luckily they have a year warranty and I took them back to TSC and exchanged them for a new pair. Would have given them 5 stars if the soles held up better.

      I am on my sixth pair of Georgia Boots and really like them. I wear them constantly. I wish that I could buy the laces. They wear out long before the boot does. Can I purchase them somewhere?

      Had 2 pairs of these boots both with the same problem, the soles crack all the way through the bottom of the boots within 90 days, both pairs.

      I purchased two pairs of these about ten years ago - I wore them when riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle and all of a sudden the leather began to separate from the sole. I took them in to be repaired and was told they are not fixable, both pairs did this. I was disappointed in that fact so I am now shopping for a better long-lasting boot.

      As A Project Superintendent I walk 8-14 acre jobs sites with varying surface conditions. These are really lightweight but extremely durable and protective. Having Type 2 diabetes means I take extremely good care of my feet and I have done so with this boot for many years.

      Bought these boots last August. Very comfortable, and good price. By January the soles on both boots had split all the way across the boot. I'm not very hard on boots, so I am disappointed they did not last any longer than they did. Everything else on the boot is in good shape.

      I bought my boots about 12 years ago. They have been worn dally for work and everyday use. I am ready to purchase a new pair this year. They are very comfortable and extremely well built. I am one my second pair now and it's time to retire them. I would recommend these boots to anyone who needs a great work boot.
