    BOA lacing a lifesaver

    At 77 and with a bad back and hip I have had push against the pain to bend far enough to lace the boot. I was sure the BOA system would be much easier for me but in trying on various brands of boots with this lace system I kept finding that because the back of the boot extended full height that I could not pull them on and only one other than Danner provided a strong true pull strap. With the Danners the lower cut rear of shoe is easier to pull on and with the heavy pull strap I can use a 8 inch metal puller which is great. May buy another pair to have a spare in case lacing breaks or Danner drops the style.
