I’ve worn western boots since the 70’s, I like the look. But don’t need anything fancy, a plain western boot will do. Only problems I have is finding suede boots in a tan or shammy color, with a actual wide square toe . These Kody James were the closest I could find.

I got these boots And was sceptical because at first fit the left boot fit properly however the right was alittle loose for a new boot . As I broke them in both loosened as a boot should however as the left boot broke in to perfection the right got so loose I had to place insoles making the left way too tight. I've verified both boots were marked to size. Of all the western boots I've worn over the years this is the first pair of cody james, and I'm highly dissatisfied.

Honestly a real comfy boot! Its hard to find a Leather soled boots these days.
The colour is exact for whats in the picture.
The only thing I would like is the toe to not be as long. But otherwise, the fit perfectly.

I bought them a few weeks ago for my fiancé. Well the size was perfect but the color is way lighter in person than this picture. We were hoping for a darker tan color but instead we got a very light color. Next time we will definitely go to the store and not order online. It was fast shipping and everything but the color was the main readon we got them and it did not even look like that.

If I had written this earlier, the score would have been much higher. I love the look and initially the fit was fine. I have a very narrow foot so I did not expect too much from a "D" width boot. Unfortunately, as I have worn them numerous times, the insides of both of my ankles have been rubbed raw. I am trying to figure out how to fix the problem but I haven't a clue a present.

Very comfy pair of boots, just like my black pair from the same brand/line. Do take note that the color is very tan as shown in only 2 of the pictures. This was mentioned in another review, and the pair I received is just like that (which I wanted). No reddish/orange tint in the color at all.

I’m very happy with these boots. The leather is good, they have steel shanks and wooden pegs (if you know, you know) and the craftsmanship is old-school impressive. Outstanding quality overall.

The boots were used. Previous tag holes, scuffs all around the outside. Gunk ink one shoe and a lifted soul due to worn in boots, staples pointed up in the other boot.
