The coat is fine but I have a problem with the snap on hood. Two of the four snaps work by hand, the other two require a channel lock to snap.

The zipper is sometimes difficult to unzip. Had to return first jacket as zipper did not work. The second jacket is somewhat difficult.

Purchased this jacket as I was looking for a warn, durable jacket. It is very durable and looks great. There were some reviews disliking the double zipper. I found once you place the start of the zipper all the way on the bottom, it zips right up. No issues. The size is true.

The coat is everything I hope it would be. In Northern AZ. a warm coat comes in handy and this coat is very warm. My only complaint is finding Carhartt or Carhartt products was more difficult than I wanted. Thanks Boot Barn!

I love it but I got the long version of the coat and it’s longer then I expected ?? and I’m like 6 foot 1 so ?? Otherwise I love the coat it looks and feels great. Has pretty awesome pockets on it. Would recommend to anyone needing a new coat

Great quality and warmth. Sleeves are a little fluffy but the coat feels and looks good on me. Fit is about right. It’s longer than I expected from the pictures but that is good for my use. Dark brown is a nice switch from the Carharrt brown.

Got this for my brother in law, and he loves it. He wears it almost every day for work, and he looks like an executive superintendent. Lit. He is 6'1" and 210 lbs, very athletic build, and a medium is a good fit.

The fit, utility and material of the coat was excellent. Did not keep the coat because the zipper (double zipper) was almost impossible to hook and unhook at the bottom of the coat to get the coat zipped and unzipped. I would love to see the same coat with just a single zipper rather than a double zipper that zips from the bottom or zips from the top.

Perfect fit!! Was thinking about getting a size medium but I saw the reviews before I ordered it. I’m 165 and 5’10” it recommended getting a medium and all I mostly wear are medium shirts. If you are a medium and approx my size go with the small, you won’t regret it!! Great jacket overall!!

I bought this recently and it's worth the money. It's extremely durable and it's warm. I'm 5'7" so it's a bit big but for good reason. It's also super comfortable. I would recommend it.

Excellent combo for me. I like to layer my winter coats and this jacket is just right for the task of outermost layer. The canvas outer is tough and virtually self cleaning, stays pliable in subzero temps and the pockets are gracious enough for hands with gloves on, that you can grab keys.

Carhartt changed the pattern. I've been wearing this coat for 30+yrs. No more. It bulges out and is 3 inches longer than the last coat. I cannot wear it riding and that's a big reason I buy this coat. sending it back. Wish they would just stick with what works. Too bad, they lost a loyal customer

loose fit? more like drapery. although it was clearly well made, the jacket fit like a toaster cover. it was way too bulky in all the wrong places and unnecessarily so. unfortunately, despite the weight and bulk, the jacket was a little snug in the shoulders, so I couldn't even order a size smaller. I notified similar bulkiness with a loose fit sweatshirt but after a few washes it was fine.

I really want to love this coat... but, can't. I bought the XL size. I bought the vest last year and really love it, so thought I'd be the coat. It looks, feels and fits great. The one HUGE problem with the design is I can't put my hand fully in the side pockets!? I usually don't wear gloves, so the pockets are important for keeping my hands from freezing. The coat is rugged and I get compliments on it, but it will spend more time hanging in the closet than me actually wearing it. A shame...

Have been a Carhartt fan for 60 years; however, the quality of their trim, material and zipper systems have been compromised. Tired of fighting zippers!

5 stars!!. Top notch apparel with one drawback. First one I ordered, zipper was totally non-functional unless you took the coat off and started yanking and pulling, (accompanied by unprintable words). Returned that one and second one arrived with not quite as bad a problem, but still had zipper issues. When unzipping for removal, you have to play with the bottom part of the zipper to get it to release from the track. It appears to me there is excess material at the bottom of the zipper track, preventing a clean uncoupling of the track .

This coat is awesome. It is warm, durable, fits great and looks incredible. Only coat you will need. I would buy again, but won’t have to due to Carhartt’s impeccable quality and durability
