i have been buying/wearing these boots for 5 yrs at least, buy a new pair every year. wear them every day. to work, i work outside. at home around the farm, to town to grocery shop. they are warm, comfortable, easy on and off. i am on my feet from morning to dark. even in the summer i will put on a pr of bike shorts, a tank top and my bogs ranchers to farm in, build fence in, work around the animals in. i love them! my older pairs are in the basement for people who show up and need a pair of boots to wear.

These boots are very comfortable and work well. Very warm and keep your feet dry. The drawback of most of Bogs products, be it boots or shoes is the only last a year and a half or so with regular use. The front pull straps end up ripping out on the shoes and both boot and shoes end up tearing and leaking where your foot bends.

Boots are the same boots I purchased before. Good fit. I like my boots a little larger to accommodate extra thick socks for Iowa winters and they're not too big for summer. Very comfortable. Very durable. Will buy again. Thank you, Bogs!

Bogs rancher boots are great. My feet size is 10 to 10.5...an 11 in the rancher is what fit. Keep my feet warm and dry at work. Service of bogs is exceptional. Had a defective pair first...they exchanged with me, sending me a new pair before I returned old pair. Great company. Thank you bogs.

Comfy boot for farm work

We love to wear the BOGS boots for irrigating fields. They are pricey, but their comfort is great when you have to walk up and down the irrigation rows all day long. Hands down, best field boot over the old style, hard rubber. Quality can be variable, however. My husband owned one pair of BOGS Rancher boots for four years, and did many miles of walking as he irrigated. The boots held up well, until one boot finally developed a crack in the foot area, where the boot is constantly flexed. We bought another pair this spring, and were extremely disappointed as one of the boots developed a crack in the same place after only 3 hours of wear. We're hoping to get a replacement soon...but are unsure of batch quality. These boots shouldn't fail so quickly!

Excellent boot, but sole wears down too

My husband wears his Bogs 5 to 6 days a week all day. He is either on his feet or driving to another location where he is on his feet throughout the day. They are extremely comfortable and support his feet well. The one con is that the thick sole is made of a softer material and wears down very very quickly. Within a month or two it is very noticeably worn down and after about 3 months the tread is mostly gone. It has been about 4 months since he purchased his most recent pair and the tread is completely gone. The bottom of the boot is smooth and his feet and legs hurt. Cheap $20 boots don't have the tread wear down the way that Bogs do. The competing similar boot that rhymes with yuck has a sturdier sole, as well. For the price of the Bogs, I wish they lasted longer. He has tried every other similar style boot that we can find and none have been as comfortable as the Bogs, so in spite of their short life, the comfort wins out and we'll buy them again.

The boots were used to feed cattle on rainy days or when mud was on the ground. The boot split where the mold line is located in the toe. The boots made it one winter. I will replace these boots with another brand and hope for longer wear.

Love these boots, use them daily for working around the yard and stream. Can stand in the stream for hours and feet stay warm. Recently used them up above snow line for cutting a Christmas tree, wore only thin wool socks - feet and toes stayed warm. Bought 2 more pairs for my father and father-in-law.
